WHY TWO DATES EXIST AT ALL
The signature and the filing are days apart, by design.
An exhibition sale is made away from the office. The gap between signing and filing is not carelessness, it is how the sale is structured, and it is where the ambiguity lives.
- Saturday
The buyer signs at a booth. Sales staff hold a stack of forms and no system to log them.
- Sunday
The exhibition closes. Forms travel back with whoever is carrying the folder.
- Monday
The forms sit in a tray. Nothing is dated because nothing has been processed.
- Thursday
Admin enters the booking. This date becomes the official one, and the buyer is not told.
- Day fifteen
The buyer withdraws, counting from Saturday. The developer counts from Thursday and refuses.
The buyer is not late. The buyer is measuring from the only moment they witnessed.
